Frequently Asked Questions

To see a list of currently available courses, go to courses page.

We do not currently offer certificates for completing the course. However we collaborate with the Open University of Cataluña and they offer fully accredited online courses based on our materials.

There is no charge for taking the course or for shipping the CDs.

To register, complete the form at registration page. After registration, log in with your Username and Password (the login box is on the right hand column of the page).

You can start at any time since the course is completely self-paced as there is no tutor-led instruction or schedules to follow.

All interested persons can take the course.

1. Order on-line. To be able to order a CD-Rom you need to be registered with us. Go to courses page and make sure that you are logged in (using the login box on the left-hand side of the page). Click on the the title of the course you are interested in, select the CD-Rom option and click on the "request a free copy" link. This opens a CD-Rom order form that you will need to fill in and submit.
2. Order by E-mail. Write to information-for-action@fao.org with your full name and mailing address as well as the number of CDs you need.

Courses are generally available on-line before they are available on CD. Please allow several weeks after the course is published on-line for CDs to become available. Shipment of CDs is done at the end of each month from Rome, Italy.

The resources for trainers are included in the CD-Rom. They can also be downloaded separately from courses page. To be able to download the files you need to be registered with us and you also need to be logged in (using the login box on the left-hand side of the page). On the courses page, click on the course you are interested in, select the F2F option and click on the language links to download the training materials.

To update your registration data, please make your changes in the edit the form on the update registration page.
