In Cambodia, EC-FAO Programme staff will work closely with national and international partners to support several on-going "Information for Action" initiatives. Activities include:
working together with the national FIVIMS secretariat to develop high quality food security information products for greater impact on policy and action;
implementing a Crop Yield Forecasting System; and
building capacity at the National Institute of Statistics (NIS) in the analysis of existing food data collected from the 2003-4 Cambodia Socio-Economic Survey (CSES).
The EC-FAO Food Security Information for Action Programme is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations
