Programme Activities

Programme Activities in Cape Verde will provide technical inputs and guidance under the umbrella of the FIVIMS initiative. Activities include:

	Supporting national institutions in their analysis of food consumption and nutrition data from the 2001/2002 Living Standard Measurement Survey (LSMS).
	Preparing a nutritional analysis based on the LSMS with specific policy recommendations.
	Assisting national institutions in improving their food security information products ( bulletins, websites, maps, etc..) so that they have a greater impact on interventions and policy making.
	Producing case studies which analyse the relationship between land tenure rights and food security.
