Development of a food security strategy for the Republic of Tajikistan

Purpose

Provide technical advice to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan ( in particular to the member institutions of the Inter-ministerial Food Security Working Group) 0n:

- finalizing and developing a plan for implementing the Food Security Strategy; and

- initiating a process of developing legislation on Food Security.

Outputs

1. A finalised Food Security Strategy and Action Plan shared with development partners, and fully aligned with the PRSP and NDS processes.

2. The first draft of a Law on Food Security
