Roma tre students
Communication with decision-makers is an important activity for professionals involved in monitoring and analyzing chronic hunger and vulnerability.

This two-hour session focused on reporting. Experience shows that the use and impact of information often depends on how it is reported.

Key questions include:
- Who food security analysts have to report to? When and how often?
- What kind of report is needed? What information should be included?

The session used training materials developed for the “Producing Food Security Information Products that Result in Action” course delivered in five countries.

Objectifs

- Raise participants' awareness of the importance of producing FSIPs that support decision-making; and

- Identify the main factors that influence the use of information for decision-making and their impact on reducing food insecurity.
