Farm Data Monitoring System in Azerbaijan: Data collection and questionnaires

Résumé

The half-day workshop was organized by the Research Institute of Economy and Organization of Agriculture (IEOA) under Ministry of Agriculture and the Programme.

The different data collection methodologies have been introduced and compared by the International Consultant on Farm Economics and Data Systems with special regards to the gross margin approach.

On the basis of gross margin methodology a new questionnaire have been revealed the can support the implementation of different agricultural policy measures.

The workshop was attended by 24 participants, representatives of the IEOA Central Office and data collectors from 3 regions

Objectifs

Introduction of the updated questionnaire and logbook.

The new elements were:

  • A simplified depreciation calculation has been built in.
  • The subsidies are recorded according to the latest regulations.
  • Recording of labour force extended to number of working days.
