Livestock Emergency Guidelines and Standards (LEGS) training expands into new areas

LEGS Training of Trainers to take place in Mongolia and South America
10 May 2013,

A LEGS Training of Trainers (TOT) will be held in Mongolia in June 2013, followed by a TOT in South America (Colombia) in August 2013. This follows the successful TOT held in Panama last year, which included participants from across Central America. To date there have been 13 LEGS TOTs, resulting in 248 LEGS Trainers world wide. Between them they have carried out 120 LEGS trainings in 28 countries, all without the support of the LEGS Project.

The application form for the South America TOT will be available on the LEGS website shortly.

The LEGS Handbook is now available in hard copy in French and Spanish for purchase from the publisher: http://developmentbookshop.com/normes-et-directives-pour-l-aide-d-urgence-a-l-elevage-legs.html (French) and http://developmentbookshop.com/normas-y-directrices-para-intervenciones-ganaderas-en-emergencias-legs.html (Spanish).
