Producing Food Security Information Products that Result in Action
Summary |
The training course was jointly organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) and the EC-FAO Food Security “Information for Action” Programme. The training provided food security analysts with the necessary skills and knowledge to produce more relevant, credible and accessible food security information products (FSIPs) that support decision-making. 21 participants from national institutions and NGOs concerned with food security successfully completed this 4 day training course. Key informants and decision-makers were invited to give presentations about the food security situation in Cambodia , actions taken and what sort of information they require for decision-making.
