Food Security Communications in Tajikistan

Summary

After an  introduction to the basic concepts of food security and a discussion of food security issues in Tajikistan, participants received training on the steps in preparing a communication plan of action. These included:

  • Targeting your audience
  • Defining your objective for communicating
  • Choosing the best channel
  • Preparing  effective messages
  • Preparing a communication action plan

They also discussed key constraints and ways to improve the national food security information system.
