Measuring and interpreting malnutrition

Summary

The training covers the general concepts of nutrition, anthropometric surveys and analysis. It also covers practical aspects related to surveys as well as data analysis (including a session on software for anthropometry analysis).

This training will provide the Direction des Prévisions et des Statistiques Agricoles (DGPSA) analysts with knowledge and skills in nutritional assessment and analysis in order to be able to produce comprehensive analyses of vulnerability and food security.

It is organized by FAO in collaboration with IRD (Institut de Recherche pour le Développement) and the Department of Nutrition at the Ministry of Health of Burkina Faso.
