Objectives

The training workshop aims at building the capacity of national stakeholders, including staff from relevant ministries, academic and research institutions, interested in:

  • food security analysis; and
  • reporting household survey data using the FAO Food Security Statistics Module.


Expected outputs:

  • Enhanced understanding of progress made towards the MDG hunger indicators and food security indicators at national and sub-national levels.
  • Statistics staff members trained in processing, analysing and reporting food security statistics.
  • Staff trained in analysing and using  food security indicators
